Questions
-
How do I play?
Start a life. Press "+1 year" to add one year. When life asks you something, pick one answer. Between two years, use People, Work, Do and Skills. One day the life ends, and you get a programme and one ribbon.
-
Where are my lives?
They are on your device only. The game has no account and no server. If you remove the game, your lives go with it. We cannot bring them back.
-
Can I move my lives to a new phone?
No. This version has no account and no cloud save. A purchase of Odogwu does move: see the next questions.
-
What is Odogwu?
Odogwu is one optional tier. It gives more control at the start of a custom life, three more save slots, and status items on your share card (a frame and the Odogwu mark). Odogwu is on iPhone only in this version. Each path, event and ribbon is free. The terms give the detail.
-
I bought Odogwu, but the game does not show it. What do I do?
Open the Odogwu screen and press "Restore purchases". Use the same store account that paid. If it still does not show, write to us with the order number from the receipt of the store.
-
How do I cancel a plan?
Cancel in the settings of your store account. On an iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. If you only remove the game, the plan does not stop.
-
How do I get a refund?
Ask the App Store. It gives each refund under its own rules.
-
Why does a life with an Odogwu start not count for the challenge?
A weekly challenge gives each player the same start. A paid start is not the same start, so it does not count.
-
How do I delete my data?
Use the steps on the deletion page.
-
Does the game need a network?
No. A life plays with no network. The game uses a network to look for new content and for a purchase.
-
Who is the game for?
Sapa is for players of 16 and older. The game is satire. Some paths have themes for older players.
-
Which phones can run the game?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 16.4 or later, and Android phones with Android 7 or later.
-
What does "Sapa" mean?
"Sapa" is Nigerian slang for hard times with no money. In the game, a year in sapa is a year when your money does not cover your costs.
